A suspect in the theft of an expensive instrument was detained in Simferopol

Employees of the railway district police department of Simferopol, during operational search activities, detained a 34-year-old man suspected of stealing a jackhammer worth more than 70 thousand rubles.
The man worked for some time in one of the local management organizations involved in servicing local areas. Having been fired in September last year, he used a stolen key from the front door to the utility room to steal property. The suspect handed over the stolen property to a local pawnshop and used the proceeds for his own needs.,” noted the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Crimea.
A criminal case has been initiated under Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Theft). The sanction of the article provides for a maximum penalty of imprisonment for a term of up to five years.
The attacker was chosen as a preventive measure in the form of detention.
