In Partenit (Alushta urban district), criminal investigation officers detained a 46-year-old man suspected of murdering a neighbor.
It was established that at the end of March of this year, the duty station of the Department of Internal Affairs of Russia in the city of Alushta received a message from a local resident that her 60-year-old husband was found unconscious with a wound in the neck in the courtyard of her private household. An investigative team immediately arrived at the scene of the incident.
As a result of operational search activities, operatives of the Department of Internal Affairs of Russia in the city of Alushta found 3-4 km from the crime scene, namely under a bridge, weapons — a double-barreled combination shotgun, a rubber mask, outerwear and gloves. According to the conclusion of the forensic medical examination, the cause of death of the man was bullet wounds in the neck and head.— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
On suspicion of committing a crime, operatives detained a 46-year-old neighbor of the murdered man. Under the weight of the collected evidence, the attacker admitted his guilt and told the police that, due to repeated domestic conflicts, he had the intent to commit a crime. One day, while waiting for a neighbor, he shot him several times, after which he fled the crime scene and got rid of the evidence.
The Investigative Committee has already brought charges against a 46-year-old resident of Partenin (Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation — murder).
Investigators and forensic investigators, in collaboration with colleagues from the criminal investigation department, began to work out all possible versions of the crime committed. The main suspicions fell on the neighbor, who had a long-standing conflict with the deceased over the boundaries of the land plot. The men even sued each other, as a result of which an easement was established on one of the plots.
The main suspect, in his opinion, perfectly thought out his actions, his escape routes, studied the locations of street surveillance cameras and even involved his unsuspecting son in the alibi. However, as a result of the painstaking work of investigators and operatives, irrefutable evidence was found of the involvement of a Partenit resident in the murder of a neighbor— said the Sledkom.
The investigative department for the city of Alushta established that on that tragic evening the man changed into prepared clothes, put on gloves and a rubber mask, hid in an unfinished building, waited for a neighbor and fired two shots at him. Afterwards, following a pre-planned route, he moved a sufficient distance from the scene of the murder, where he changed his clothes, disassembled the gun, hid all the objects in different places along the Uzen River, where they were discovered as a result of operational search activities.
During the interrogation, under the weight of the evidence presented by the investigator, the man admitted his guilt, giving detailed testimony as part of the investigative experiment.
Currently, he has been chosen as a preventive measure in the form of detention. The criminal investigation continues.
