A teenager's cycling trip in the mountains of the southern coast of Crimea resulted in serious injuries

Last Saturday, at 12:50, the rescue service received a message that in a forest area near the village of Lavanda (Alushta urban district), a minor fell from a bicycle and injured his back and head. Rescuers’ assistance is required in evacuating the mountain-forest zone.

Specialists of the Alushta emergency rescue team «CRIMEA-SPAS» provided the boy with first aid by applying a Shants collar. After which, using a stretcher and a rigid spinal shield, the minor was transported to an ambulance.
