A terrible accident in Alushta: a truck literally crushed a Lada Priora. Two people died on the spot

Police are investigating a fatal accident in Alushta in which two people died. A terrible accident occurred on Saturday morning (at 10:15) on the Simferopol — Yalta highway, near the fork to Sudak.

The driver of a MAN truck, moving from Simferopol towards Yalta, had brake failure, as a result of which the truck began to involuntarily reverse and collided with a Lada Priora passenger car. As a result of a traffic accident, two passengers of a Lada Priora passenger vehicle received injuries incompatible with life.— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.

Alushta investigators worked at the scene.

The check is carried out to determine whether the actions of the driver and the responsible persons who released the MAN truck for the trip contained signs of a crime under Part 3 of Art. 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation — provision of services that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life and health of citizens, resulting in the death of two or more persons through negligence,” noted the Sledkom.
