A theft was discovered in the Saki region. About the professional work of the Crimean police

The senior district police commissioner of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia «Saki» Mustafa Memetov, while walking around the serviced area, revealed the fact of penetration into an empty house by the sea. He noticed someone’s footprints on the fence, and a window in the house had been broken into.

The district police officer identified the owner of the house and reported what had happened. Upon arrival, the woman, having examined the premises, told the police officer that property and money were missing. The amount of damage is 48 thousand rubles. The search measures taken allowed the police major to convict two residents of the village of Mirnoye, Evpatoria, of committing a crime. The 31 and 43-year-old men pleaded guilty. Part of the stolen property was confiscated and returned to the victim— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.

The involvement of the suspects in another case of theft in the Saki region has been established. The men admitted that they broke the glass door of another country house and wanted to steal a multi-cooker and an electric kettle, but were unable to complete the theft — the alarm went off and they ran away with nothing.

Criminal cases have been initiated under Part 3 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Theft”) and Part 3 of Art. 30, part 3 art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Attempted theft”). The accomplices are being held in a temporary detention center. They face a maximum penalty of six years in prison.
