CrimeaPRESS reports:

Avito Rabota conducted a survey of 2,000 young Russians aged 18 to 25 and asked them questions about their experience finding part-time work. Analysts found that the majority (76%) of young Russians already have experience working part-time. Of those who already had such experience, a third (33%) of young Russians found a part-time job in up to 3 days, and more often male respondents (37%) than female respondents (29%) choose a part-time job this quickly. Most often, it takes young people from the Far Eastern District up to 3 days to find a part-time job (50% of respondents).

For 22% of respondents, it took from 4 days to a week to find a part-time job. 11% of young Russians spent between 8 days and two weeks looking for part-time work.

The most important criteria when choosing a part-time job for young people who participate in this type of work are the level of salary (54%), convenient, flexible schedule (43%) and the ability to combine part-time work with study (22%). For girls, a convenient work schedule (47%) and the opportunity to combine work and study (25%) turned out to be more important than for men (39% and 18%, respectively).

When looking for a part-time job, 21% of young Russians pay attention to its proximity to home, and the same number of respondents consider it important to gain useful skills and experience through a part-time job.

The majority of Russians (84%) aged 18-25 believe that part-time work experience is necessary to acquire important life and professional skills. More often, this opinion is shared by young people from small cities with a population of less than 100,000 people (87%), as well as residents of the North Caucasus and Ural districts (93%, respectively).
