A tourist was injured in the cave town of Mangup-Kale. «CRIMEA-SPAS» came to the rescue

Yesterday, at 15:37, the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a message that a woman had injured her leg in the area of ​​the cave town of Mangup-Kale (Bakhchisaray district). Cannot move independently. Rescuers’ assistance is required in evacuation. The duty shift of the Bakhchisarai emergency rescue team «CRIMEA-SPAS» was sent to the scene of the incident.

Upon arrival at the beginning of the climb to Mangup-Kale, we climbed on foot to the victim, after which we provided her with first aid by applying a splint to the injured limb. Also, employees of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea “CRIMEA-SPAS”, using a special rock stretcher, transported the victim through difficult mountainous terrain to the parking lot, after which they handed her over to relatives— said the emergency department.
