A Ukrainian missile was destroyed over the Black Sea. Didn’t reach Sevastopol
CrimeaPRESS reports:
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, today, at 17:40, a Ukrainian missile was destroyed over the Black Sea.
On November 9, at about 17.40 Moscow time, an attempted missile attack by the Kyiv regime using the Neptune anti-ship missile against targets on the territory of the Russian Federation was stopped. Duty air defense systems detected and destroyed a Ukrainian missile over the Black Sea off the coast of the Crimean Peninsula— reports Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
Also today (at about 17:45) a post by Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev appeared on social networks about the defeat of an air target on approach to the city.
Just 10 minutes ago, over the sea in the outer roadstead, the military destroyed an air target. The air situation is being monitored. All emergency services are on standby. Trust only official information— wrote Razvozhaev.
So, the enemy wanted to strike Sevastopol? Our air defense forces were ready for such a turn. Let us note that the Neptune cruise missile of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is, in fact, anti-ship (one of the versions of the destruction of the Moskva cruiser is precisely a hit from such a missile). It flies at low altitudes. The flight range is 280 km, the modified version (this was only known in theory so far) is up to 400 km. “Neptunes” of the Ukrainian Armed Forces previously hit (tried to hit) the western coast of Crimea — the areas of Yevpatoria and Cape Tarkhankut. Air defense was working. In a straight line from Odessa to Sevastopol — 305 km. Are they shooting?
