A unique festival “Golden City” was held in Yalta
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Initially, the festival was conceived to support young and emerging artists of Yalta, the Republic of Crimea and other regions of the country — that is why its central events were large-scale vernissage and plein air in the open air, which were perfectly complemented by the old doors, transformed by the students of the famous artist Elena Makeeva from the Yalta Children’s Art School into real works of art. The festival was visited by Honorary Citizen of Yalta, Honored Artist of Crimea Eleonora Shcheglova, who, together with other famous painters, assessed the works of participants in the plein air on the embankment— reported the press service of the Yalta administration.
The scale of the festival is growing every year — it has long gone beyond the borders of the city of Yalta. Various events with the assistance of MBUK “Yalta Centralized System” are held in the villages of the South Coast and the city of Alupka. The creative component also expanded: in addition to art exhibitions and plein airs, the festival included free educational walking tours, concerts, one-man performances, master classes, film screenings, lectures, quizzes, open-air performances and much more, and artists, musicians, and poets took part in it , writers, local historians, craftsmen and many others.
Absolutely all festival visitors could not only immerse themselves in the diversity of culture, but also try their own hand at creativity.
