In Crimea, in the Dzhankoy district, an interactive exhibition “Living Crafts” began working. The project to popularize Russian culture was implemented by the family craft workshop “Svetlitsa”. Guests will be told about weaving, pottery, folk toys and taught how to make dolls and pottery.

A traveling interactive exhibition “Living Crafts” will be held in the Dzhankoy district for five whole months. Its main organizers are the founders of the family craft workshop “Svetlitsa” Svetlana and Pavel Uslov. The project is free and includes a tour of the exhibition dedicated to Russian culture and crafts, as well as fascinating master classes— reports Tourist portal of Crimea.

The first traveling interactive exhibition has already opened in the Dzhankoy District House of Culture (Rosa Luxemburg St., 16). Later, the project will be adopted by 24 more sites. The organizers emphasized that the event is designed for children from 7 to 10 years old. Young excursionists will take a two-hour journey into the history of Russian crafts. First, they will be shown and told how they weaved on tablets, then how a folk doll was created and dishes were made from clay. Along the way there will be a conversation about national ornaments and their meaning.
