A vacancy forum was held in Sevastopol for SVO participants and members of their families
CrimeaPRESS reports:
At the city “Boiling Point” of Sevastopol State University, a forum of vacancies in labor and social adaptation was held for participants in the special operation and members of their families.
Combat veterans need competent adaptation to civilian life. As for the employment of this category of citizens, in Sevastopol they pay great attention not only to assistance in employment, but also to retraining and advanced training. Today, here veterans and their families have the opportunity to receive advice in all these areas. Such work, with the assistance of the Employment Center, is carried out on an ongoing basis.— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the Deputy Governor of Sevastopol Alexander Kulagin.
The regional forum of vacancies, social and labor adaptation of SVO participants and members of their families was attended by over 80 Sevastopol residents.
This is the first forum in Sevastopol for employment and training of SVO participants and members of their families. We brought together employers, educational institutions, the Employment Center, psychologists and career guidance specialists on one site so that soldiers and their families could get answers to questions regarding training, retraining or job search in a “here and now” modesays the head of the Sevastopol branch of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, Elena Anisimova.
Representatives of 5 educational institutions and 12 large employers took part in the forum.
The forum participants passed career guidance tests, master classes on self-presentation from the Knowledge Society and SevSU, and also visited a psychological relief room.
The event was held in a family format. There was a children’s room for the children of the forum participants. Here the children drew, wrote a “Letter to a Soldier,” and carved seagulls. Together with volunteers from student groups and the Chamber of Crafts, we made small panels of fabric on the theme “My Sevastopol”.
Each of the forum participants who applied for employment assistance will receive full support from the fund before going to work and adapting to a new place.
