CrimeaPRESS reports:
Employees of the UEBiPK of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Sevastopol, together with specialists from the regional Rospotrebnadzor and Rosalkogolregulirovanie, revealed a warehouse of a counterfeit beer drink — cider.
In the course of carrying out operational and preventive measures in a rented warehouse on one of the streets of the city, law enforcement officers found 103 thirty-liter kegs with low-alcohol alcohol of dubious origin, not labeled in accordance with applicable law. Representatives of the distributor company renting the warehouse for the goods could not provide the police with documents confirming the legality of the circulation of alcohol-containing products. The seized batch of cider will be sent for a physical and chemical study, which will determine whether the drink poses a danger to the life and health of consumers— noted in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Sevastopol.
The measures taken have stopped the sale of counterfeit goods, police officers are taking measures aimed at removing it from the shopping facilities of the city. In addition, law enforcement officers found a batch of beer in the warehouse, which was not taken into account in the Unified State Information System. Currently, this fact is being checked, the results of which will be made a procedural decision.
