A woman who distributed drugs was sentenced in Sevastopol

The Nakhimovsky District Court of Sevastopol, agreeing with the arguments of the first deputy city prosecutor Dmitry Tellin, who supported the state prosecution, issued a guilty verdict in a criminal case against a woman born in 1993.
She was found guilty under Part 3 of Art. 30 – part 5 art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted illegal sale of narcotic drugs using the Internet, by a group of persons by prior conspiracy, on an especially large scale). It was established that at the end of July 2023, the accused, in order to earn money, agreed on the Internet with an unidentified person, the materials in relation to whom were separated into separate proceedings, about the joint sale of drugs. She received from an accomplice the coordinates of a cache of mephedrone with a total weight of more than 500 g. In the future, for a monetary reward, she was going to package the drug into smaller doses, hide them on the territory of Sevastopol and sell them to drug addicts, providing information about the locations of the “stashes”. The criminal plan could not be implemented, since during operational search activities, officers of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol detained a woman immediately after seizing a wholesale batch of mephedrone on the street. The court, taking into account the arguments of the state prosecutor, sentenced the perpetrator to imprisonment for a term of 6 years and 6 months to be served in a general regime correctional colony.
