CrimeaPRESS reports:
According to the regional department of the Investigative Committee, a criminal investigation has been completed against a 17-year-old resident of Sevastopol, accused of attempted murder of a 45-year-old mother (part 3 of article 30, part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The investigative department for the Gagarinsky district established that on December 15, 2023, the young man, during a domestic conflict with his mother, closed the front door and struck her alternately at least 20 times with two knives. The neighbors, hearing the screams, tried to enter the room of the communal apartment on Marshal Blucher Street, where the mother and son lived, after which the young man jumped out of the third floor window and disappeared. The victim was immediately taken to a medical facility, where she received timely assistance— reported in Sledkom.
The suspect was promptly detained and, at the request of the investigation, taken into custody.
The criminal investigation has now been completed. A sufficient evidence base has been collected and the necessary examinations have been carried out.
The materials were sent to the prosecutor’s office for study, approval of the indictment and further referral of the case to court.
