About 100,000 people have visited Crimean museums since the beginning of the year

The collections of the state museums of Crimea include over 1 million items, of which more than 49 thousand items belong to the state part of the Museum Fund of the Russian Federation. For 2 months of the current year, the collections were replenished by 1864 item, while for the entire last year — by 16, 5 thousand exhibits (most of the new acquisitions were items of archeology and donation) , — the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea notes.
Also, 7 multimedia guides have been created using augmented reality technology based on the Artifact digital platform, which allows you to get acquainted with the unique collections of Crimean museums online.
In addition, in 2022 a series of events is planned to coincide with the anniversaries of the Crimean museums. In particular, the centenary of the Vorontsov Palace Museum, 30 — the anniversary of the Palace Museum of Alexander III in Massandra, 49-anniversary of the Simferopol Art Museum, 30-anniversary of the Alushta Literary and Memorial Museum of S.N. Sergeev-Tsensky, 16-anniversary of the Black Sea Museum of History and Local Lore and -anniversary of the Kalos Limen Reserve, 30-anniversary of the Crimean Ethnographic Museum.
Employees of cultural institutions, the department emphasizes, are making every effort to organize access for residents and guests of the peninsula to the historical and cultural heritage of Russia, in compliance with security requirements, under the conditions of the high alert regime.
