About 8 thousand Sevastopol schoolchildren took part in the online Olympiad “Safe Roads”

CrimeaPRESS reports:

All-Russian Online Olympiad «Safe roads” runs from September 24 to October 27 for schoolchildren in grades 1-9. In order to take part in the Olympiad, you need to go through a simple registration on the online platform “Uchi.ru” and go from your personal account to the Olympiad page. Adult pedestrians and motorists can also test their knowledge of traffic rules and basic algorithms for safe behavior on the roadway.

To date, about eight thousand Sevastopol schoolchildren have taken part in the online Olympiad, which shows a high interest in the topic of road safety.

Ensuring the safety of children is one of our main goals. As part of the national project “Safe Quality Roads,” we are repairing roads leading to schools and other educational institutions and have already achieved significant results. We also pay special attention to educational events that are aimed at increasing the level of knowledge about traffic and behavior on the roads. The All-Russian Online Olympiad has become a significant step towards improving students’ knowledge of traffic rules and developing safe behavior on the road— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the Deputy Director of the Directorate for the Development of Road Transport Infrastructure, Alexander Shiryaev.

Let us remind you that the Olympiad is being held for the fifth year in a row with the support of the national project “Safe Quality Roads”. For different age categories, tasks of appropriate complexity have been thought out. All participants in the Olympiad will receive certificates, and the winners will receive certificates and diplomas.
