In Bakhchisarai, in the memorial complex of Ismail Gasprinsky, an exhibition «The Art of Healing» was opened. According to Tourist portal of Crimea, visitors here are introduced to the methods and techniques of treatment of our ancestors. Among them are those that have not lost their relevance today.

This is a fascinating story about rituals aimed at protecting the soul and body from dark forces, cleansing them, maintaining health and preventing diseases.— the employees of the memorial complex of Ismail Gasprinsky Bakhchisaray Historical and Cultural Reserve spoke about the new exhibition.

For the first time in the showcases will be presented manuscripts on medicine of the 17th and 19th centuries, printed publications of the late 19th — early 20th centuries from the funds of the Bakhchisaray Museum-Reserve. The documents contain recipes and various methods of treating diseases. There are also ritual bowls.

The exhibition will run until 25 September. You can visit it with an entrance ticket to the house-museum of Ismail Gasprinsky.
