About the “ensign” in Crimea, merciless PR and the meaning of Ukrainian special operations

Still, in one component of modern hybrid wars, Ukraine is ahead of the rest – PR. Merciless, biting, provocative, boorish, large-scale. “Couch troops” is not a hyperbole, not a figure of speech, but real… Kiev troops, special forces, the purpose of which is to sow lies, to cultivate the minds of the fragile and doubtful, to produce alarmists and to lie, confidently, with proofs (fake photos and videos). The latest example is the “landing” of troops on the western coast of the Crimean Peninsula. The same one that failed (details and interrogation of a captured Ukrainian saboteur — HERE).
But from the “other side” — … in the eyes — God’s dew. And the landing took place, and he made a “special visit” to Crimea, and posed with the flag. And what kind of “destruction” is there anyway?! Everything was filmed at Mosfilm — the interrogation of the prisoner, the weapons, the equipment… Probably the corpse that surfaced today a few kilometers from Cape Tarkhankut… Everything will surface… Sooner or later. And their flag… Here it is, lying on Crimean soil. It is not his destiny to be overweight here.
Now, regarding the video circulated in the Ukrainian media, social networks and instant messengers, it is clear what it means. By the way, there are two rollers. We’ll show you both. For understanding.
It seems that there are similar “film masterpieces” in Kyiv for any occasion (but always with an “ensign”). And if you look closely, the saboteurs are swimming, it’s unclear where (well, there is no such vegetation on the coast of Crimea), and the flag is not like that (because “like that”, the same one for a real photo shoot — material evidence seized by the FSB). And pay attention, such propaganda videos have the same direction — invincible, trained lads “shoot, jump, go crazy”, then “on the enemy shore” they deploy the “ensign”, prance with it quietly and “go home”.
Sorry, even if this is true, is this the meaning of these very “special operations”? Posing with a flag to boost the morale of your population? Soldiers of the Artan detachment of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine no longer pose. Never. All 16. One is in captivity. One surfaced. Another 14 will surface.
They lost the DRG for the sake of a merciless PR campaign. Interesting approach. And what’s most interesting is that there will still be such “special operations”. Without meaning. No chance of success. No survivors. But this is of no interest to anyone, is it? This is how it works in Ukrainian Through the Looking Glass: the truth is not perceived. Chants about “victory”, horse races on the Maidan, photos with an ensign fly with a bang… To paraphrase an old advertisement, thirst is nothing, image is everything.
