About three thousand single doses of “synthetics” did not end up on the streets of Crimean cities. Details of the police special operation

Employees of the Drug Control Department of the Crimean Police detained a 24-year-old resident of Simferopol on suspicion of committing a crime related to drug trafficking, namely the illegal sale of narcotic drugs by creating hiding places.
During the implementation of operational information, in one of the districts of Simferopol, a person involved was detained red-handed while laying drugs. During a personal search of the young man, as well as in his car, packages containing a crystal-like substance were found and seized. During an authorized search at the defendant’s place of residence, narcotic drugs, the circulation of which is prohibited, as well as packaging materials were discovered and seized. Some of the substance was in bags, some was already packaged. In total, as a result of the measures taken, police officers seized more than 280 grams of synthetic drugs “salt”— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
The suspect admitted his guilt and explained that he purchased prohibited substances via the Internet for further sale through stashes in Simferopol and the Simferopol region. Thanks to the measures taken by the police, it was possible to avoid about 3 thousand single doses of the drug from falling into illegal circulation.
The investigative unit of the police department No. 3 “Central” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Simferopol opened a criminal case against the suspect on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Art. 30, part 4 art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Attempt at illegal production, sale or transfer of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues). The sanction of the article provides for a maximum penalty of imprisonment for a term of up to 20 years. The suspect was chosen as a preventive measure in the form of detention.
