Accident in Belogorsk district of Crimea: Emergencies Ministry tells how children trapped in a wrecked car were rescued

Employees of the Belogorsk emergency rescue squad «KRYM-SPAS», the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea, the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate and the ambulance immediately went to the scene.

Upon arrival, it became known that there had been a collision between a LADA Granta passenger car and a DAF truck. As a result of the accident, 5 people (including 3 children) from the LADA Granta were trapped by the vehicle’s structures. Rescuers from the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea «KRYM-SPAS» used a hydraulic emergency rescue tool to free 5 people, after which they were transported to an ambulance.
