On behalf of the prosecutor of the city of Sevastopol Maxim Zhuk, an inspection was organized on the report of a traffic accident involving a truck and several cars in Inkerman.
According to preliminary information, on July 2, 2023, at 21:45 at 12 km of the Sevastopol-Inkerman highway, a resident of the Kaliningrad region born in 1957, moving towards Sevastopol driving a DAF cargo vehicle with a semi-trailer, lost control and collided with five cars. As a result of an accident, a 37-year-old driver of a Volkswagen Polo was injured, he received medical assistance at the city hospital N1— reported the press service of the prosecutor’s office of Sevastopol.
During the audit, all the circumstances of the incident will be established, an assessment will be made of the fulfillment of the requirements of the legislation on road safety, including in the organization of freight traffic. The prosecutor’s office of the Balaklava district is under control, which is carried out by the internal affairs bodies on this fact.
