Accident in Sevastopol: 67-year-old driver ran over underage pedestrians

In Sevastopol, the State Traffic Inspectorate is checking the fact of a car hitting two pedestrian girls.
Today, in the area of house number 8 on Pavel Korchagin Street, at an unregulated pedestrian crossing, a traffic accident occurred involving two underage pedestrians. It was preliminary established that the 67-year-old driver of the ZAZ car did not provide an advantage in traffic and hit a 9-year-old and 13-year-old girls who were crossing the carriageway at an unregulated pedestrian crossing. As a result of an accident, children with injuries of varying severity were taken to the city hospital, no signs of intoxication were found in the driver— reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.
In relation to the offender, the employees of the State traffic inspectorate compiled administrative materials under Art. 12.18, article 12.6, article 12.24 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, an audit is underway.
