In Sevastopol, the police are investigating a traffic accident on Stoletovsky Prospekt involving a passenger car and a van. As specified by the regional Department of Internal Affairs, in this accident, which occurred today at 15:25, a passenger of the minibus was injured.
A 50-year-old driver, driving a Chevrolet Aveo, near house No. 3A on Stoletovsky Prospekt, incorrectly chose a safe speed, drove into the oncoming traffic lane, where he collided with a Ford Transit van driven by a 29-year-old driver who was driving in his lane. As a result of the accident, a 49-year-old passenger of the Ford Transit received injuries of varying severity, and was taken to the city hospital. Preliminary, the drivers were sober— the Sevastopol Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
An investigation is being conducted into the accident with the victim.
