Police are investigating the circumstances of an accident in Sevastopol involving a pedestrian. As specified in the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs, the incident happened today, at 14:45.
A 32-year-old driver of an Akura car in the area of house 17A on Stoletovsky Prospekt at a controlled pedestrian crossing hit a 19-year-old girl who was crossing the roadway on roller skates at a traffic light prohibiting signal from right to left in the direction of the car. As a result of an accident, a pedestrian with injuries of varying severity was taken to the city hospital— reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.
No signs of intoxication have been found in the driver of the foreign car; an investigation is being carried out into the fact of the traffic accident.
