Yalta police are conducting an investigation into an accident involving a minor. As the traffic police clarified, a collision with a pedestrian girl occurred this afternoon, at 16:43 on the Goncharnoye — Yalta highway. It is emphasized that the child was hit right at the pedestrian crossing.
Near the village Vinogradnoe, a 37-year-old Toyota driver did not give way to a pedestrian who had the right of way and was crossing the road at an unregulated pedestrian crossing. As a result of an accident, a minor girl, born in 2012, was injured and taken to a medical facility— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
Employees of the Yalta State Traffic Inspectorate worked at the scene of the accident. An investigation into the traffic accident is underway and the circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
