Two victims.
The night before (at 19:22), the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a signal about an accident on the 27th km of the Simferopol — Evpatoria highway (near the village of Skvortsovo). The duty personnel of the fire department of the village of Shkolnoe of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Fire Protection of the Republic of Crimea», as well as traffic police officers and ambulance doctors were sent to the scene of the incident.
The driver of the BMW X4 lost control and overturned. The driver and passenger were trapped by the vehicle’s structures. Firefighters, using a hydraulic rescue tool, unblocked them and transported them to an ambulance. Also, fire brigade employees carried out all the necessary measures to ensure fire safety at the scene of the accident.— said the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
The circumstances of the accident are being investigated by law enforcement officers. Wet roads and weather conditions are only part of the reasons; the main thing is the wrong speed limit.
