Accident on the highway «Simferopol — Nikolaevka»: what does the exit to the oncoming lane lead to

Employees of the State traffic inspectorate are investigating the circumstances of an accident in the Simferopol region. As specified in the traffic police, the accident happened this morning (at 8:30) on the Simferopol-Nikolaevka highway.

The driver of the car «Lada Kalina», born in 1962, moving from Nikolaevka in the direction of Simferopol, drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided with the car «Niva Chevrolet» driven by the driver, born in 1960, because of which the car «Niva Chevrolet» turned over onto the roof. As a result of a traffic accident, the passenger of the Niva Chevrolet was injured and was taken to a medical facility. In the car «Lada Kalina» there was a family of 5 people, two of them were girls 10 and 8 years old. Minors received one-time medical care in the hospital— the details were reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.

An investigation into the accident is underway, all the circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
