The police are establishing the circumstances of an accident in the Belogorsk region, in which a person was seriously injured. According to the traffic police, the accident on the Tavrida highway occurred this morning at 7:05.
The driver of a GAZ car, moving along the Kerch — Simferopol — Sevastopol (Tavrida) highway, from Simferopol in the direction of Kerch, at 164 km, for unknown reasons, allowed to leave the roadway to the right in the direction of travel of the vehicle, followed by hitting an obstacle — information road sign. As a result of the collision, the car caught fire— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
The driver was hospitalized with serious injuries. An investigation into the accident is underway.
