In the Simferopol district, a driver accused of causing an accident on the Tavrida highway in which two people were injured will appear before the court. The 44-year-old resident of the city of Saki is accused under Part 1 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of traffic rules and operation of vehicles).
According to the preliminary investigation bodies, the accused was driving a Mitsubishi Lancer on the Tavrida highway in the early morning of May 2024, violating the speed limit. As a result, the accused collided with a Mercedes truck moving in the same direction. As a result of the traffic accident, two passengers in the Mitsubishi received multiple injuries.— the Crimean prosecutor’s office reported.
The criminal case was sent to the Simferopol District Court.
