Accident on the Uyutnoye – Novy Svet highway: a GAZelle overturned on the serpentine road

Yesterday, at 18:42, the operational duty station of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a message about an accident on the Uyutnoye — Novy Svet highway. Specialists from KRYM-SPAS, employees of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea, the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate, road workers of the Sudak DRSU and Krymavtodor, and ambulance doctors immediately went to the scene of the accident.

Upon arrival at the scene of the accident, it became known that the driver of a GAZelle cargo-passenger vehicle with a trailer lost control, as a result of which it rolled down the road, and the trailer, having got into a storm drain, overturned and partially blocked the road. Due to the fact that the trailer received mechanical damage, a quarry loader and a KamAZ dump truck were used to lift it. After placing the trailer on its wheels, the GAZelle car and trailer were evacuated to a hard surface. Employees of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Crimea «CRIMEA-SPAS» assisted road services in lifting the trailer onto a hard surface, and also fenced off the accident site— said the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.

Elimination of the consequences of the accident took several hours. Most importantly, there were no casualties in this accident.
