According to Crimeans, a decent teacher’s salary should be 89 thousand rubles per month

According to Rosstat, the average salary of a teacher in Russia as of June 2023 was 65 thousand rubles per month (excluding additional payments for classroom management). Crimeans consider the amount worthy to be almost 1.5 times higher than the actual one. Representatives of the economically active population took part in the survey of the service for finding high-paying jobs SuperJob.
33% of Crimeans would like teachers to earn from 50 to 80 thousand rubles per month. 24% of respondents called a salary of 80-100 thousand rubles decent. 13% are confident that school teachers should receive from 100 to 150 thousand rubles per month, working for 1 pay. Thus, the average salary of teachers, which the townspeople called decent, is 89 thousand rubles per month. Men’s estimates of a decent salary are higher than women’s: 91 and 86 thousand rubles, respectively. Citizens under 35 consider the amount of 85 thousand rubles worthy, and those who are older consider 92 thousand. Ideas about how much a school teacher should earn grow with the income of respondents,” noted the service’s press service.
Residents of the capital called a decent salary of 125 thousand rubles per month, while Mosstat data for June talk about the average salary of a teacher in Moscow in the amount of 135 thousand.
According to official statistics, the average monthly salary of teachers in St. Petersburg schools is 73 thousand rubles. Residents of the northern capital consider a salary of 100 thousand rubles worthy.
