On the Day of Solidarity in the Fight against Terrorism, activists of youth, student and volunteer associations commemorated the victims of the terrorist attacks. About a hundred people gathered at the Volunteering Support Resource Center. The activists also watched the film Citizens of Beslan. Throughout the film, there was silence in the hall — each participant plunged into the experience of the terrible September days 2004 of the year in Beslan. During the discussion, many spoke about how hard and painful it is to watch such footage, but at the same time, it is important to show them in order to never allow a repetition of terrible events.
It is extremely important to cover this topic for young people, because they are more susceptible to recruitment, more greedy for some doubtfully attractive things in the modern world than the adult generation. Thank you for holding such events — do not let us forget about those who once gave their lives for children , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the school of volunteers Tatyana Kurteva.
After watching the film, the participants of the event laid out the word «life» from lit candles in front of the Resource Center building and honored the memory of the heroes-defenders and victims of the terrorist attacks with a minute of silence.
Let us recall that every year on September 3, on the Day of Solidarity in the Fight against Terrorism, events are held in Russia dedicated to the memory of the victims of terrorist acts.
