Adopted the budget of Sevastopol for 2023 and the planning period of 2024 and 2025

The planned budget deficit for the next year is about five billion rubles.

During the regular plenary session of the Legislative Assembly in the second reading. The law on the budget of the city of Sevastopol was adopted for 2023 year and planning period 2024 and 2025 years. As the press service of the city government clarifies, for the consideration of the bill in the second reading, clarifications were made on the volume of gratuitous receipts from the federal budget.

By the second reading, there was an important task — to put money into the budget to support the Sevastopol participants of the NWO and their families. More than 300 millions are provided for initiatives that are reflected in the law , — said the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev. 2025

Taking into account the changes made, the total volume of city budget revenues for the 2023 year is planned in the amount of 35, 8 billion .rubles For 2024 year — 35, 4 billion rubles, for 2025 — 35, 5 billion rubles. Budget expenditures in 2023, 75 and 2025 years, respectively, will be : 75,4 billion rubles, 35,4 billion rubles, 56,9 billion rubles.

The budget is not simple, but at the same time all social obligations are laid down, all payments are indexed. I would like to thank the deputies: the amendments were promptly worked out in the committees, and today the main financial document has been approved , Mikhail Razvozhaev noted. 2025

The budget of Sevastopol is socially oriented: almost 25% of funds are provided for the 2023 year 35, 9 billion rubles — for social spending. Of this amount, only 6.0 billion rubles are planned for social payments to people. The largest share in this segment of expenditure is occupied by the following industries: «Education» — 35, 1%, «Social Policy» — 25%, «Health» — ,eight%.

Traditionally, a significant share of current expenditures is socially significant expenditures (wages with accruals, social payments to citizens — allowances, compensations, provision of benefits and subsidies to certain categories of the population, expenses for compulsory health insurance). In the 2023 year, more than are planned for these expenses,2 billion rubles – more than % of all expenses.
