Advice and love: a Sevastopol resident stole 100 thousand rubles and a TV from his partner after a month of marriage

A 43-year-old local resident contacted the Department of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Gagarinsky district and said that her partner had robbed her.
She explained that she met a visiting 38-year-old man and after a while offered to move into her apartment to live together. After a month of cohabitation, when she once again returned home after work, she discovered that her lover was missing, as well as the absence of a TV and cash in the amount of 100 thousand rubles. The amount of damage amounted to 120 thousand rubles. As a result of the measures taken, the local police commissioner detained a suspect who was in a friend’s apartment and was about to leave the city— reported the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol.
A criminal case has been initiated against the attacker under Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft”. The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of up to five years.
