The Ministry of Agriculture of Crimea held a competition under the Agrostartup program.

Within two days, members of the commission carefully studied more than 20 business plans of the participants. The most popular areas are the cultivation of vegetables and potatoes in the open field and in greenhouses, the development of animal husbandry, namely, the expansion of existing sheep and goat farms, as well as the creation of new ones, the cultivation of orchards, the development of apiaries and the creation of grafting complexes for seedlings of fruit trees and other. There were also unusual projects. For example, in the Bakhchisaray district, one of the participants in the competition plans to create a snail farm. The head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Crimea also noted that the participants of the competition plan to buy the number of cattle and sheep, the machinery and equipment necessary for the farm, as well as build greenhouses with the money from the grant.
