“Agrostartup” program in the Republic of Crimea: what the winners of the competition plan to do

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Thanks to participation in the Agrostartup program, the winners of the competition plan to grow vegetables in closed and open ground, fruit and berry crops, purchase a seedling complex, as well as modernize an apiary, a cattle farm and a snail farm. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea Andrey Savchuk.

Agro-startup workers will implement their business projects in 6 districts of the republic: Kirov, Bakhchisarai, Sovetsky, Simferopol, Krasnoperekopsk and Dzhankoy. Let me remind you that the implementation of the project “Creating a support system for farmers and developing rural cooperation” has been implemented in the Republic of Crimea since 2019 as part of the main event “Regional project “Acceleration of small and medium-sized businesses”. This year, more than 30 million rubles are planned from the republican budget for these purposes.— quotes the press service of Andrei Savchuk.

The head of the Ministry of Agriculture of Crimea also said that agreements have been concluded with recipients of subsidies on the provision of grants in the form of subsidies for 5 years for the implementation of projects for the creation and development of peasant farms.

I note that this direction is quite popular among Crimeans who want to engage in agribusiness. Many have been working in agriculture for many years and now, with the help of our support, they will enlarge their business. The grant funds will help them purchase the necessary machinery, equipment, etc. From 2019 to 2022, 54 private farms received grant support for a total amount of more than 130 million rubles. Last year, almost 19 million rubles were given to 7 grant recipients for these purposes.notes the minister.
