Air defense worked in Sevastopol. Air target destroyed
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Around 16:00 it was loud in the sky over Sevastopol. On the ground, a “ballistic danger” signal sounded. The peaceful life of the city is not disturbed. The air defense units performed excellently. According to preliminary information, one air target was destroyed in the sky over the water area in the North Side area.
Information on damage to civilian infrastructure has not been recorded at this time. I remind everyone: if you find dangerous finds, immediately report them to 112. Rescue services promptly respond to all messages and go to the scene. The situation is under the control of operational services— reported Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev.
By this moment it is known for sure: there is no damage on the ground from falling fragments either in Sevastopol or nearby. There are no fires. A detour and flight over possible impact areas was completed. The target (preliminarily, a Ukrainian modified S-200 missile) was indeed shot down over the sea.
What’s interesting (coincidence? we don’t think so) all this time, a NATO Bombardier Challenger 650 aircraft, converted for electronic reconnaissance, was operating over Romania, approaching the Black Sea coast. Either he was “directing” or identifying air defense systems.
