A few minutes ago an air raid alarm sounded in Sevastopol. The information was confirmed by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev. Local media are also rebroadcasting the alert. Sea and land public transport in Sevastopol has suspended traffic.

REMINDER

What to do when you receive a sound signal from electric sirens “ATTENTION EVERYONE!” and voice notification “AIR ALERTS!”

When you are in an apartment building, if you DO NOT KNOW the location of the nearest shelter:
— close the windows tightly and do not approach them in the future;
— turn off gas, water, electricity;
— take shelter in a room with load-bearing walls, sitting on the floor near the load-bearing wall at a considerable distance from the window.

When you are in an apartment building, if you KNOW the location of the nearest shelter:
— close the windows tightly;
— turn off gas, water, electricity;
— take essentials (documents, mobile phone, money, bank cards);
— warn neighbors in case they didn’t hear the signal;
— provide assistance to the sick, children, disabled people, and the elderly;
— without using the elevator, go to the shelter.

When in a car or public transport:
— stop the car (demand the public transport driver to stop);
— leave the car (public transport) and use the basement floors of nearby buildings or dual-use structures (underpasses, tunnels, other artificial shelters) for shelter.

When outside:
— use the basement floors of nearby buildings or dual-use structures (underground passages, tunnels, other artificial shelters) for shelter.

REMEMBER! NOT SUITABLE FOR COVERING:
— places under vehicles (cars, trucks, buses);
— places under the walls of apartment buildings, offices and shops: a lot of glass will fall from above from the blast wave. The safe distance from such buildings is 30-50 meters.
