Aksyonov: the reasons for failure to meet deadlines for construction and repair work are always subjective
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, held a working meeting at the State Institution “Investstroy of the Republic of Crimea” on construction and reconstruction projects of the state program “Socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol”, the Federal Targeted Investment Program, and national projects.
Sergey Aksyonov recalled the importance of meeting deadlines for the implementation of all projects. In the event of a systematic violation of the construction work schedule for biased reasons, it is necessary to terminate the contract with the contractor without waiting for a critical situation.
Thus, the pace of reconstruction of kindergartens in the cities of Yalta, Alushta, Krasnoperekopsk and the town of Nizhnegorsky has decreased. The head of Crimea indicated that all backlogs from schedules must be eliminated and reached the planned targets.
If cooperation with an unscrupulous contractor continues, officials who do not make appropriate decisions in a timely manner will be punished for this. The reasons for missing deadlines are almost always subjective; it’s just that often those in charge have no desire to delve into the essence of the processessaid the Head of the Republic, calling on all participants to fulfill their obligations in full.
Particular attention was paid to the progress of construction of a waste processing complex (ecotechnopark) in the Leninsky district with a capacity of 160 thousand tons per year. Currently, there is a risk of untimely completion of planned work due to an error in calculations when designing the facility. The head of Crimea recommended adding the designer to the blacklist of unreliable performers.
Sergey Aksyonov also instructed to draw up a “catch-up schedule”, redistributing the volume of work within the planned time frame and at the same time increasing the number of equipment and workers at the site if necessary.
The stages of work must not be disrupted. The facility must be put into operation on time, as we promised,” noted the Head of the Republic of Crimea.
The meeting also discussed the progress of construction of a modular building to house a computed tomograph at the Bakhchisarai Central Regional Hospital.
