Alarming “weekend” of the Bakhchisarai emergency rescue team “CRIMEA-SPAS”

Yesterday, at 10:50, the emergency department was informed that at the Staroselye climbing wall (Bakhchisarai), during a mountain tourism competition, a man fell off a cliff. The help of rescuers is needed in evacuating him to the “Hide Aid” car. Employees of the Bakhchisarai emergency rescue team «CRIMEA-SPAS» immediately went to the scene of the incident.

Upon arrival, rescuers determined that the victim had inadvertently fallen from a height of about 3 meters, receiving various injuries. They gave him first aid, placing a Shants collar on his cervical spine, and transported him on a stretcher to the arriving ambulance for further hospitalization— reported the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.

Also on Sunday, at 16:55, the rescue service received information that two people had lost their way on Mount Boyka (Bakhchisarai district). They cannot leave the mountain-forest zone on their own. The help of rescuers is required in their search and evacuation.

Arriving at Boyka Mountain, Tar-Bogaz Gorge, rescuers began searching on foot. As a result, voice and then visual contact was established with the lost. Rescuers found people on the right slope of the Tar-Bogaz gorge, after which they were taken out of the mountainous forest area and escorted to a personal car in the village. Sokolinoe. They did not need medical care— said the emergency department.

The entire rescue operation took more than 3 hours. The work was complicated by difficult mountainous terrain and falling fog.
