Alexander Okar from Yalta has two medals at the All-Russian competition «Grand Prix of Moscow Region»

Yalta resident Aleksandr Okara won two medals at the All-Russian athletics competitions among boys and girls under 18, the Moscow Region Grand Prix, which took place on July 6-7 in the village of Yerino (Moscow) at the Podolye stadium.

The student of Alexey Dubovik (State Budgetary Institution of Additional Education of the Republic of Karelia “School of Olympic Reserve for Track and Field No. 1”) was second in the 800 m race (1.57.69 min.) and third in the 1500 m race (4.14.45 min.)— reports «Crimean Sport».

More than 500 athletes from 19 regions of the country took part in the competition. The strongest were determined in 12 disciplines: 100, 200, 400, 800 and 1500 meter runs, 100 and 400 meter hurdles, long and high jumps, discus and javelin throws, and shot put.
