Alexander Plyuta — the first Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea passed away

It is with regret that we announce the death of the first Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea, Major General of Police Alexander Nikiforovich Plyuta. He passed away peacefully on May 24, 2024 at the age of 78.the message says.

Plyuta worked as the head of the regional traffic police in Crimea, and from 1993 to 1994 he was the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea. From 1994 to 1998 — rector of the Simferopol Police School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. On his initiative, two residential buildings for employees, a police building, and a monument to Saki police officers who died during the Great Patriotic War were built.
