The first meeting of the Public Chamber of Sevastopol of the third convocation took place. The new composition included representatives of various fields: the first third of the members of the Chamber was approved by governorthe second — members of the Legislative Assembly, the third was chosen by previously elected new members of the House. At the meeting, the chairman of the Public Chamber of Sevastopol was elected. They became the captain of the 2nd rank in the reserve Alexander Troshev.
For me, this solemn day was very constructive, the goals of the Chamber’s work were outlined. A break has now been specially made between meetings so that the members of the Public Chamber can get acquainted and decide on areas of work. A working group has been created to write the regulations, which are already outdated. We will pay special attention to the participants of the NWO and their families, we have a representative of the volunteer staff. We also provide humanitarian and legal assistance to new territories. There are plans for legislative initiatives, a separate commission will be on environmental issues, we are working with youth and veteran organizations— quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol Alexander Troshev.
Recall that the term of office of members of the Public Chamber of Sevastopol is three years from the date of the first meeting of elected members.
