Alexander Yuryev was approved for the post of head of the administration of Yevpatoria

At the next meeting of the 85th session of the Evpatoria City Council, deputies unanimously approved Alexander Yuryev to the post of head of the administration of Evpatoria.

Among the priority tasks for this position, Alexander Yuryev named increasing the revenue potential of the local budget, developing the urban economy, creating a comfortable urban environment, developing sanatorium and tourism potential on a year-round basis, improving social policy and supporting SVO participants and their families,” noted the press service of the Evpatoria administration.

REFERENCE. In 1997, Alexander Yuryev graduated from the history department of Simferopol State University.

In 2007 – Faculty of Economics, University of Economics and Management.

He began his career in 1997 as a regional representative of the Akro-Yug company in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. He held the positions of deputy director of the Crimean Republican Charitable Fund “Black Sea Charitable Fund”; Deputy Director of RIA «Second Half» LLC, political consultant to the People’s Deputy of Ukraine; Head of the Anti-Corruption Inspections Department of the Anti-Corruption Committee of the Republic of Crimea.

He was actively involved in social activities. He headed the tourism committee in the Public Council under the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. He was an active participant in the Crimean Spring in 2014. From 2014 to 2015, he headed the branch of the A Just Russia party in Crimea. From 2022 to 2024 — Chairman of the Public Council of Simferopol.

Since 2022, he has been a freelance adviser to the Head of the Republic of Crimea.

Since April 2024 — acting head of the city administration of Evpatoria.

Awarded the medals “For the Defense of Crimea” and “For the Defense of the Republic of Crimea”.
