Alina Kasabieva from Simferopol took silver at the world championship in women's wrestling among juniors

Alina Kasabaeva climbed to the podium in the weight category up to 65 kg. In qualifying, our countrywoman defeated Caroline Pock from Hungary (7:0), in the 1/8 finals — Sofia Kushnir from Ukraine (5:0), in the quarterfinals — Masa Perovic from Serbia (11:0), and in the semifinals — Katerina Zelenykh from Romania (3:2), and only in the final fight, unfortunately, she lost to Irina Ringaci from Moldova (3:10), — reports «Crimean sport».
Let us note that Russian athletes, who competed in the championship in neutral status, won three medals – 2 silver and 1 bronze.
In May of this year, at a similar European Championship, Alina Kasabaeva took bronze in the up to 62 kg category.
