All-Crimean testing on the history of the Crimean offensive operation of 1944 took place

As part of activities aimed at preserving and transmitting historical heritage, the youth of the Republic of Crimea took an active part in the All-Crimean testing on the history of the Crimean offensive operation of 1944.

In Simferopol, on the site of the Potato Town memory museum, schoolchildren, students and representatives of youth movements gathered to test their knowledge about this significant historical event. Not only were the test participants able to remember and deepen their knowledge, but they also expressed their memory and respect by laying flowers at the memorial complex.

Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Bobkov, Chairman of the State Committee for Youth Policy of the Republic of Crimea Alexey Zinchenko, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Youth Policy of the Republic of Crimea Ani Grigoryan, as well as Director of the Youth House Daniil Meshcheryakov were present at the event, emphasizing the importance of historical education for the younger generation.

The All-Crimean testing project covered schools, secondary vocational and higher education. Public areas were opened in all municipalities, where everyone could test their knowledge of the history of their small homeland.

Our main task is to honor the memory of the heroes who fought for our lives, of those terrible events that we must never repeat, of the exploits of our peers. And sometimes we get help from outside in fulfilling this task.

This test definitely helped refresh my knowledge of the tragic pages of the history of our beloved peninsula. We remembered our Crimean heroes, I can safely say that we have someone and something to be proud of, — said Zlata Prozor, a fighter of the Crimean regional branch of the Russian student groups.
