Almost 19 thousand applications were received for the All-Russian Municipal Award “Service”

The acceptance of applications for the All-Russian Municipal Award “Service” has been completed. 18,458 applications were received and processed from representatives of the municipal community from 89 regions of the country. Another 433 applications were submitted in a special nomination. Applications have passed the initial selection and will be assessed by an expert council. The popular vote will begin on December 25.
The All-Russian Municipal Award “Service” is carried out on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and is awarded to outstanding representatives of the municipal community — teams and people who have made a special contribution to the development of municipalities and improving the quality of life of citizens.
2,060 applications were registered from the Southern Federal District.
Service Award awarded in ten categories for the best projects and management decisions: “My region is my pride”; “Small Motherland is the strength of Russia”; “Defense of the fatherland is a common cause”; “By joining forces, we multiply opportunities”; “Everyone’s initiative is a common success”; “Direct conversation – trust in power”; “The experience of a mentor is the success of young people”; “New technologies – new opportunities”; “The destiny of man is the pride of the Fatherland.”
The Supervisory Board was headed by First Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of Russia Sergei Kiriyenko. Organized by the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government (VARMSU) with the support of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation.
