Almost 400 thousand Crimeans are already applying for compensation from the November storm

The head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, said that as of December 12, 386 thousand applications for compensation payments were received from citizens whose property was damaged as a result of the disaster. According to him, to date the commissions have already processed 120 thousand applications from Crimeans.

The commissions continue to work to determine the damage, the process is scheduled to be completed by December 20,” added the Head of Crimea.

According to Sergei Aksenov, according to the latest estimates, the bad weather damaged more than 1,200 roofs.

Most of them have already been repaired, some by self-employment, some by budget funds. Approximately 400 roofs are still being repaired,” the Head of the Republic clarified.

In addition, Sergei Aksyonov informed that the drainage of water from the village of Pribrezhny Saki region, where the most severe flooding occurred, is almost completed. At the same time, there was no water left in the houses.
