Almost 6 out of 10 Crimeans spend more than a quarter of their working time on useless work
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Work is always meaningful for 4 out of 10 citizens. In a service survey Superjob Economically active citizens from Crimea took part.
For 43% of Crimeans, work always makes sense, and women say this more often than men. Citizens under the age of 34 are less likely to consider their work useful (26%) compared to those who are older. Respondents with secondary vocational education are more likely to be confident that they do not waste their working time (45% versus 34% of respondents with higher education).
Nearly 6 out of 10 city dwellers occasionally have to perform tasks that make no sense to them. They spend 28% of their working time on unnecessary work. According to average estimates, useless work takes up a third of the working day for younger respondents, and a quarter of the time for those over 45 years of age.
The largest number of those who consider their work useful and meaningful are chief accountants (55%), call center operators (52%) and salespeople (48%). Their colleagues, who still have to spend some time on meaningless duties, estimate these losses at a minimum. But this is not the case with doctors: many doctors called their work extremely useful (58%), and those who have complaints about the need to perform certain duties believe that they lose about a third of their working time on this. Among the former, there are more doctors from hospitals and dental centers, among the latter — doctors from outpatient clinics.
