Almost a quarter of vacancies with business trips in the Southern Federal District are associated with the construction of industrial facilities

According to a study conducted by Avito analysts, employers began to more often indicate in vacancies the possibilities of business trips for employees. Most of these ads are placed in the field of construction of industrial and infrastructure facilities: vacancies with the mention of working trips in this industry amounted to almost a quarter (24%) of the total number of such proposals. On the average of the construction sector in winter 2024/2025, they offered payment of 80,526 rubles/month with a fixed schedule.

The construction of industrial and infrastructure facilities is often carried out in different regions of the country, including remote and inaccessible territories. Companies often win tenders or receive contracts for the construction of facilities away from their main location. Most often, business trips in the industry are offered to installers (8%of all vacancies with business trips), electrician (8%) and engineers (3%).

A significant part of vacancies with business trips account for other industries. For example, 9% of proposals with the mention of working trips this winter were placed in the field of cargo transportation and logistics, where business trips are most often associated with interregional transportation and support of goods. The average salary in this area is 103,087 rubles/month, and among specific professions, expedition drivers (4%) and cargo transport drivers (4%) are most often sent to other regions.

Another 14% of vacancies involving business trips occur to the construction of residential and commercial facilities. The average offered salaries in the industries are 87,582 rubles/month, and most often business trips offer foremen (4%), subsurients (2%) and a marginal (5%). When opening new construction sites, these employees can be sent to help in setting up work, training in local personnel or temporary strengthening of the team.

The top 5 market segments, where employers most often indicate the possibility of business trips for employees, is closed by the food industry. In this area, business trips are due to work in remote industries: ads with the mention of working trips make up 5% of the total number of such vacancies.

Among the main reasons are the scaling of business throughout the Southern Federal District, which often leads to the need for additional labor in the regions. Companies require local employees to coordinate the work and control of work processes, as well as personnel training and the implementation of new solutions.
